We have had a few parents asking us why we are open today.
The Government expects schools to make every effort to stay open and staff to make every effort to get to work. All our teachers are in and because we let your children stay in the buildings at break and lunchtimes anyway no-one has to go out in the cold.
So there is no reason for us to close and we are getting on with the job of teaching your children.
Pupils will not be allowed to throw snowballs or play with the snow. Pupils sometimes get hurt and pupils who are cold and wet from throwing snow at each other don’t learn well.
