Upton Lane School

We are fortunate to have been included in the Government’s Priority Schools Building Programme. We are now occupying our Upton Lane school site and in total are accommodating two self-contained five form entry schools, with our Upton Lane site containing an integrated Autism provision.

The Upton Lane site has been redesigned as a modern, three storey facility. The building boasts brand new state-of-the-art sports facilities occupying the latest sporting equipment and technology.

The new furnished canteen situated in the central atrium of the school building enthuses all who enter and promotes an inspiring learning environment.

Priority Schools Building Programme Education Committee

As a school that has gone through the Priority School Building Programme (PSBP) process, the Education Select Committee at the House of Commons was very interested to hear about our experience.  Mr Seager, Headteacher was invited to a session as a witness on Wednesday 18th March 2015 where the Committee explored the operation of the allocation formula for the programme and the effect that allocation had on schools.
