The law states that schools in England and Wales should hold daily acts of worship with a predominantly Christian focus. We want to carry on with our current arrangements. This means that instead of daily acts of Christian worship we will continue to have daily reflections (Click here for more information on our daily reflections programme).
Schools are allowed to replace the daily act of worship with a programme of daily reflection if they have the agreement of the Department of Education, this agreement is called a determination.
At the moment we are applying to renew our determination because we don’t want to introduce a daily act of predominately Christian worship.
Part on the application is to get the views of parents.
We need to know if you agree with our decision to replace the daily act of predominantly Christian worship with our daily reflections programme. To give us your view please click here and write up to one hundred words expressing your view.
