Stratford School Academy GCSE Results 2020

Stratford School Academy is pleased to report an excellent set of GCSE results this year.  Some of the headlines include:

  • 76% of students achieving a standard pass (4+) in both English and Math
  • 61% of students achieving a strong pass (5+) in both English and Maths
  • 76% of students achieving standard passes in 5 or more subjects including English and Maths

These are results which give a significant majority of our students a really strong platform to progress onto level 3 courses such as A levels.

Whilst many students achieved highly, there were some exceptional performances, for example:

Mahir Khan –9 grade 9s

Rashad Chowdury – 7 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s

Solademi Oduyoye – 8 grade 9s, 1 grade 8

Mayeda Miah – 7 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s

Headteacher Craig Hewitt says, “We are incredibly proud of these results which are a real testament to the hard work of our students and their teachers together with the support of our parent community.  It is great to have some good news in what has been a difficult year for many people and we are looking forward to celebrating these achievements with the students.”

A huge well done to all of our Year 11 pupils on their success and we wish them all the best for the future.
