S&P Global Mock Interviews: A Valuable Learning Experience for Year 10 Students

On Wednesday, 4th December 2024, 105 Year 10 students from Grosvenor Road had a fantastic opportunity to practice their interview skills during the S&P Global Mock Interviews event. This enriching experience gave students the chance to engage in one-on-one and two-on-one interviews with business volunteers from S&P Global, gaining valuable insights into the interview process and preparing for their future careers.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn more about the world of work from the S&P volunteers, who provided guidance on the skills and qualities that are essential to succeed in the business world. Each student received personalized feedback on their responses to interview questions, which were thoughtfully designed to help them reflect on their future aspirations and understand the values they could offer to potential employers.

The event was made possible thanks to the participation of 18 dedicated volunteers from S&P, who generously shared their time and expertise with our students. This hands-on experience was a great way for Year 10 students to develop their communication skills, boost their confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of the business environment.
