Student Leadership Team
We have a student leadership team who provide us with ideas and feedback from a student’s perspective. We work closely with the student leadership team on a range of issues such as our anti bullying procedures, meta cognition and teaching and learning.
At our school, we have a clear vision for our student leaders, built around three core pillars: empowerment, personal development, and community engagement.
1. Empowerment
We believe that student leaders should feel empowered to play an active role in shaping their school. By giving students a voice in decision-making processes, we create a better school experience for everyone. Empowered students contribute ideas, bring positive change, and help create a vibrant, inclusive school community.
2. Personal Development
Our student leadership program focuses on helping students grow as individuals and as leaders. Through workshops and activities, students will develop key leadership skills and foster a sense of responsibility. This personal growth equips them to make a meaningful impact within the school and beyond. As these student leaders grow, they inspire their peers to get involved, creating a ripple effect of positive change throughout the school.
3. Community Engagement
Student leaders are encouraged to extend their impact beyond the school gates. By participating in borough-wide school workshops and collaborating with the wider community, they gain valuable experience and connections. They will also take part in charitable initiatives and fundraising events to support important causes. This commitment to activism helps students become active, responsible members of their local and global communities.
