Free food and fun during the Christmas Holidays
Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
We are writing to you about Newham Council’s free Christmas Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme. The programme is aimed at children and young people in Newham, age 4 to 16, who would usually receive free school meals.
As with the summer HAF programme, Newham Council is working with a range of organisations to offer free places at holiday clubs during the Christmas holidays.
A choice of activities are available between 20th December 21 to 4th January 22.
There is something for everyone! Sport, drama, day trips, cooking, music, arts and crafts, dance and family fun days. This is an opportunity to have fun, learn new things and make new friends!
Clubs will also provide a delicious, healthy meal each day.
How do I access the programme?
Every club has its own booking process, so please visit www.newham.gov.uk/haf to see what’s on offer and how to sign up!
Some clubs may ask you to provide a letter to confirm that your child is eligible for a free place on this programme; you just need to show this letter.
If you need help with booking a place or accessing online information, please speak to your child’s school.
